August 16, 2001 TO: Dan Carlson Scientific Enterprises FROM: Jacob H. Miller There is attached a copy of my letter to the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences, recommending you for the Nobel Prize in Economics. Included also are the materials re: Sonic Bloom that I will send as attachments to that letter. It is my earnest prayer that the Swedish Academy will see the world-wide needs that your invention addresses so remarkably well. May the Lord bless you and be with you as you continue your work on behalf of the world’s needy populations. Please let me know, via e-mail, if this meets with you approval.

| TO: The Royal Swedish Academy of
Sciences P.O. Box 500005, SE-104 05 Stockholm, Sweden Fax: +46 8 15 56 70 FROM: Jacob H. Miller May it be my privilege to submit the name of Dan Carlson as a candidate for the Nobel Prize in Economics. Dan Carlson is the inventor of the Sonic Bloom System – a combination of high frequency sounds and a foliar spray which greatly enhances agricultural productivity. Attachments A and B more fully describe the process involved. Attachment C is a list of 20+ published articles about the amazing food and forest products enhancements that Dan Carlson’s invention has brought about. Too much of modern-day agriculture has become dependent on massive applications of insecticides and pesticides. The earlier use of DDT brought about world-wide decimation of song bird populations. In and near the more industrialized regions these bird populations are well below one-percent of those existing prior to the use of DDT. The bird songs in Dan Carlson’s Sonic Bloom system replace this loss. The leaf pore openings called stomata are stimulated by the bird songs to open fully so that the application of foliar sprays is made as much as 700% more highly effective than the wide spread use of chemical sprays and foliates. A new door has been opened in our understanding of the growth processes in the botanical world. Dan Carlson has shown that plant growth comes about principally at the plant leaf surfaces. At the leaf surfaces, sunlight, bird songs and nutrients come together to stimulate the uptake of water and carbon dioxide. Further plant leaf processes then come about to produce oxygen, thus another benefit to come from this discovery by Dan Carlson. You may contact Dan Carlson as follows: Dan Carlson Scientific Enterprises This letter is being submitted on the 20th day of August, 2001.

| My own employment in Physical Sciences
Research on Magnetic Healing
Jacob H. Miller
OBJECTIVE
PROFESSIONAL EMPLOYMENT
1. About three years in the Instrumentation Division as head of optics lab with some six to seven employees. Work was in designing, building and operating optical systems to “photograph” projectiles at hyper-sonic speeds. 2. The remainder of my employment was with the Space Sciences Division in the following areas: a. Obtaining high resolution infrared spectra of gasses known to exist in planetary atmospheres employing a long path gas cell and a high resolution spectrometer. b. Measuring these same special features for gasses in the atmospheres of Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn using the McMath Solar telescope at the Kitt Peak National Observatory near Tucson, AZ. c. Combining the laboratory and observatory data to determine the amounts of these gasses in the planet’s atmospheres. d. Publications in the Journal of Quantitative Spectroscopy and Radiative Transfer and in the Astrophysical Journal. e.
For the last four years prior to my retirement, I took on the
assignment to design and have constructed an optical interferometer and
high vacuum system for obtaining precise telescope mirror effects
introduced when cooled to the liquid helium temperature of 4 degrees
absolute. The objective was
to have a mirror suited for use in an Infrared Orbiting Telescope and
operating at the liquid Helium temperature Since
retirement from NASA, I have spent my time learning about the magnetic
healing process. So many
had written about and sold magnets for healing with little or no solid
evidence. I studied both
the Physics and Biological applications.
For the first time in my paper on “Magnetic Healing” the
Physics of paramagnetism and diamagnetism are fully described vis-à-vis
their effects on the human circulatory system.
A copy of this paper is attached with some attachments. Most
recently I have had the occasion to study the effects of sonic
frequencies along with the application gibborolic acid and minerals to
very greatly enhance the growth rate and output of fruits, vegetables
and many other agricultural products.
Use of these seem to have the potential to revolutionize much of
agriculture. This finding
(first put forth by Dan Carlson of Minnesota) is very timely as the
world needs continue to grow. My
own first experiments show some very promising results.
Since agriculture is so dominant in California, it seems not too
much to anticipate a 15 to 20 percent increase in productivity where
this methodology is employed. Future
applications in the acceleration of growth in the production of
hardwoods should be pursued. Since these results rely on the action induced in the stoma (leaf pore openings) many agricultural modalities will be in need of a change of course.
EDUCATION Prior to and after World War II Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry – University of Denver Master’s Degree in Chemistry – University of Denver ORGANIZATIONS Membership in the honor societies for Chemistry and Physics
